Cool Car Spotting

In Nonsense on February 26, 2009 at 19:16

West Lafayette isn’t exactly the place you’d expect to find crucial wheels rolling about, and for the most part you’d be right. It’s mostly big-ass pickups with loud exhausts putting the hammer down for 400 feet until the next stoplight. However, in my time I’ve seen some very crucial specimens parked around. There’s always a cream Mercedes sedan from the 70’s parked across the street from my apartment building, and I once saw a Citroen XM in the parking lot in front of Parthenon.

Today there was a silver Alfa Romeo 164 parked on Northwestern outside of Khana Khazana. It was an automatic, which kinda bumps it down a bit, but not that much because it’s an effing Alfa. Of all the days I picked to not have my phone on me, I picked today, otherwise I would have snapped that mofo up and down, and showed you guys how sweet it was. All the badges and stuff were in place, and seeing a Pinninfarina badge in person is always sweet. There was a bunch of shit all over the seats, books, a cd player, headphones, and the like, so this car was a daily driver by some super-cool person. Anyway, it was sweet, and next time I see a cool car in town hopefully I’ll get some snaps of it.
